Boaz cuts himself off from his family, friends, and former life. This 7 minute hybrid animated documentary traces his disappearance through the memories of those he left behind.
The film mixes family interviews with a psychedelic score by Bar Karti, blending Indian sounds, waltz, and desert rock. Animation shows absence and doubt where live action feels too blunt. Using Blender and After Effects, I built drifting, unstable scenes that behave like memories, with gaps and sudden shifts. As my Bezalel graduation film, it was also a way to treat animation as a full documentary language.
