Docu-Animated TV Series — 2020-2024 — KAN 11
Role: Co-Creator, Art Director & Animation Director
A docu-animated series about small stories that echo bigger Israeli history. Each episode focuses on one forgotten event or voice, and together 4 seasons and 32 episodes build an alternative, emotional history of the country.
Here, every story gets its own visual treatment. Season 1 used Blender 3D for a slight distance; later seasons moved to paper-cut animation in After Effects, more tactile and close to the characters. Animation is used quietly to show inner states and blurred memories that cameras cannot reach. As art and animation director, I always start with what is this really about and only then choose how it is drawn, lit, and moved.
